Job DetailsJob Location Ultraplay Systems Inc - Red Bud, ILDescription The CAD Drafter builds healthy communities through play and recreation by generating and electronically maintain drawings for new product development and custom orders.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Work Location:
390 Kennedy Drive, Red Bud, IL 62278 Generate and electronically maintain drawings files for new product development.
Use SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe and other software tools as required to generate 2D and 3D geometry of products.
Assist in development of product specification sheets.
Design and compose 3D models of products and produce detailed shop drawings for site amenity product line.
Create product installation instructions.
Create and follow designs from initial concept to final product.
Coordinate with customers to produce custom lettered site amenities.
Inter-department cross training to develop needed skills.
Inter-department engagement to support & develop process/product/skills.
Take direction from and support inter-department tasks.
Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Specific Requirements Include:
A minimum of an associate degree in drafting or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 2 years of experience with SolidWorks is required.
Must be proficient in computer software for design work and layouts.
Computer experience with a basic knowledge of 2D and 3D design and visualization.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as other computer/web-based programs.
Must have a knowledge of materials and methods of manufacturing.
Must be physically able to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to work and meet tight deadlines.
Working independently with Engineering Manager, along with the QC and Production departments, to resolve fabrication issues and assist in the development of best practices/procedures.
Build effective relationships with internal and external client basis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
Manage multiple priorities/responsibilities with accuracy.
Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands and work independently.
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Excellent communication (email, written and oral) and people skills.
Reliable, detail-oriented self-starter who takes ownership of assigned tasks.
Travel Travel will be minimal.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office setting.
The manufacturing environment will be noisy, climate is less controlled and where PPE will be required.
May be required to drive for business purposes and if so, must hold a driver's license in good standing.
Salary:
$29 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
